
Every ten years, there is a job that I have to do. I take a few important reminders from the decade, package them up and put them away until 2050.
This is my time capsule.
I started the time capsule when I was just 18 years old. The year was 2000, we had just rolled into the new millennium, the Y2K bug was deemed a non-issue, the word was happy to still be around. The idea hit me because of all the furvor surrounding the new millennium. I was just starting out in life after high school, a place so many teen movies had been based on, my whole life ahead of me.
